A 10 days combined annual training camp for NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets is organised by 2 Pb. Girls BN at HMV College Jalandhar under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. 400 Cadets from various institutions are there to attend the camp. Training would be imparted to the cadets on various subjects such as drill, weapon training, map reading, first aid, adventure, self defence, military history, physical fitness, field craft and battle craft. The Commanding Officer Col. Jasbir Singh gave the presidential address and spoke about training, discipline and motto of the camp. He discussed about daily schedule of the camp. Rules and do’s and don’ts should be obtain during the camp. GCI Sandeep gave knowledge about Aim, Structure and about the flag of NCC. In this camp various types of activities are organised such as Games: Volleyball, Tug of War, Cultural activities: Group Dance, Group Song, Solo performances, Educational activities: Essay Competition, Debate, Slogan Writing and Poster Making etc. On this occasion, Incharge NCC Mrs. Saloni Sharma and CTO Army Wing Miss Sonia Mahendru were also present.
