Amidst the reverberations of Om Dhwani the Non-teaching staff of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized the monthly Havan Yajna under the benign support of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Office Superintendent acted as Yajman and offered the pious samagri to the holy fire along with other members. Mr. Ravi Maini presented the monthly thought saying that a pure heart and righteous living leads the way to God. A humble and sweet voice and purity of thoughts are the attributes of a divine personality. Mr. Manohar Lal said that we should give respect and love to others as what we give to others that comes back to us. Narrating an anecdote, Mr. Amarjit Khanna emphasized on the teachings of holy saints and preachers and importance of Havan in purifying the environment as well as life. He advised everybody to have milk daily with reference to the World Milk Day. Mrs. Veena Rani, Hostel Warden recited the pious mantras of Yajurveda. Mr. Amarjit Khanna, Mr. Raman Behl, Mr. Pankaj Jyoti and Mr. Lakhwinder Singh presented gifts to the members whose birthday fall in the month of June. The Havan concluded with the recital of Shanti Path and fragrance of Havan Samagri wafting through the air.
