Summer short courses start at HMV

Five short term courses i.e. cooking, dancing, cosmetology, communication skills and fashion designing started under the umbrella of Summer Finishing School at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, a pioneer institute dedicated to the cause of women empowerment for more than 93 years and well acknowledged for its exclusive enterprise. The highlight of the camp is that it is meant to impart skill based projects to students with hands on training on various aspects of life skills at a very minimal cost.

Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated the students on joining the finishing and wished them a pleasant and gainful learning experience.  On the first day, the students attended official and various  sessions. During the 15 day finishing school, students will learn numerous innovative things in the area of fashion designing, cooking, cosmetology etc. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal said that students of HMV Collegiate School are very enthusiastically taking part in this unique project. Dr Anjana Bhatia, Incharge, HMV Finishing School said that those who are not students of the college are also welcome for the above courses. It is open to homemakers and professionals as well.
