The NSS Unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya are
participating in "Swachh Bharat Summer Internship 2019-20" under the
able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr . (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The NSS students
encouraged the rural children for swachhata. Principal Prof. Dr . (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen encouraged the students and said that under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan
started by Govt. of India, we will contribute in making India a prosperous
nation. Swachhata is not limited to homes only, rather it is the need of the
country. In this connection the NSS volunteers encouraged the rural residents for
swachhata. They visited schools & homes of Jandusingha village and told
them about Solid & Liquid Waste Management. The NSS Volunteers told the
people about the Sanitizer made from
Neem. They were also told about less use of plastic and keeping our
surroundings neat & clean. Sarpanch Ranjit Singh also appreciated the
efforts of our students.
On this occasion, NSS Program Officer Dr. Anjana
Bhatia also encouraged the students for Swachhta. Program officer Mrs. Veena
Arora also motivated the students to become a part of Swachhta Abhiyaan. Asst.
Program Officer Ms. Harmanu was also present there.
