Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen bestowed with Nadia Murad Women Excellency Award

If precision and perfection were to find an epitome, there would be no other name as suitable as of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. This does not come as over statement in the light of the prestigious award that she has been conferred with. Principal Dr. Sareen has been bestowed with the coveted Nadia Murad Women Excellency Award in the United Nation backed World Women Congress organized at JN Auditorium, Indian Institute of Sciences Bangalore on 8^th September, 2019. The award recognizes her multi-pronged and multifarious approach towards empowering women through skill enhancing projects. She has achieved nonpareil glory by being the only woman chosen from India for this prestigious award. The award was conferred by Her Excellency Lt. Governor of Pondicherry, Dr. Kiran Bedi in the presence of other empowered women i.e. Maharani of Mysore Her highness Pramoda Devi, Ms. Rashmi Krishnan, IAS, Secretary (SWCD) Govt. of India, Dr. Kalpana Gopalan, IAS, Additional  Chief Secretary to Govt. Dr. Soumya Misra, IPS Govt. of Telangana. The award validates her noble mission and her commitment and dedication. This World Women Congress was the fifth in sequence to the previous being held in Mexico, Copenhagen and Brazil.
