Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen encouraged students to demonstrate and step forward for their support and solidarity for literacy and she said that literacy is not an end but is a means to most other learning and social and economic empowerment.
To connect young generation with their grandparents and to advocate the irreplaceable value of older adults, students presented Nukkad Natak, which informed students that grandparents are the foundation of our community as well as our link to the past. Students were enlightened, that grandparents make the world a little softer, a little kinder and a little warmer for us and they should respect their grandparents.
The students participated in choreography, skit and poster making competitions. Vaishnavi of SSC-2 (Arts) expressed her views on literacy through self-composed poem.
