Nutrition week celebrated at HMV

The departments of Botany & Zoology of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated National Nutrition week from 1^st to 7^th September with the theme "Go further with food" to aware the students about importance of health & well being. Through the National Nutrition Week Campaign, people all over the world can be educated to maintain their look & feel better.

Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that the objective of National Nutritious Week is to enhance the awareness among students through seminars, competitions & training to develop a healthy nation.

Dr. Seema Marwaha made the students aware about right diet & several health benefits associated with the diet. Dr. Anjana Bhatia informed that National Nutrition Week is being celebrated at HMV through power Point Presentation, Poster Making Competitions, Vegetable Nutrition on platter & lectures.

Dr. Jatinder Kumar, Dr. Harpreet Singh & Mr. Sushil Kumar acted as judges of poster making. Dr. Shweta & Dr. Nitika acted as judges for PPT. Mrs. Saloni & Mrs. Deepshikha judged the vegetable nutrition on platter competition. The winners were awarded in each category. On this occasion, Mrs. Purnima, Mr. Sumit, Ms. Harpreet, Dr. Sakshi, Ms. Avantika, Ms. Simmi, Mr. Rajinder, Mr. Sachin, Mr. Amit, Mr. Balwinder were also present.
