“Save water, Save life” programme organized by NSS unit of HMV Unit

The NSS unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a special program on “Save water, Save life” under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The students participated in debate competition and shared their views in it. The students gave various suggestions regarding saving water. They suggested that rain water harvesting can be a good way. In addition, they suggested that wash basin on the toilet water tank can also be adopted. The students presented their views orally and through PPT. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen said that it is a serious issue that water level is decreasing day per day. We should take some strong steps to safeguard our future. Life without water is impossible.

Programme officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Mrs. Veena Arora also encouraged the students to save water for future. Judgement was given by Mrs. Pawan Kumari. NSS assistant officer Ms. Harmanu Paul also encouraged the students for saving water. Km. Ishpreet got 1^st position, Km. Komakshi and Km. Vishaldeep got 2^nd prize, Km. Nisha and Km. Raman got 3^rd prize. Winners were awarded with prizes and certificates.
