The
Cosmetology department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized a Guest
Lecture under Kaushal Kendra on the topic ‘Skin and Hair Care’. The resource
persons were Dermatologist Dr. Manpreet Kaur and Dr. Amanpreet Singh (Plastic
and Cosmetic surgeon) from AG Clinics. Head of Department Ms. Mukti Arora
welcomed them. The resource persons shared basic knowledge of skin and its
anatomy. They gave tips on skin care for all age groups. They also told about
routine care of skin for different types of skin and latest treatments
available for aging skin. Dr. Manpreet said that hairs are very important for
every female. She gave tips about daily care of hair. In addition, they also discussed
the effects of chemical treatments on skin and hair. The resource persons
guided the students regarding importance of diet, sleep and stress free life
for healthy skin and hair. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the
efforts of the department. On this occasion, Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur (Dean Academics), Dr.Ekta Khosla (Nodal officer of
Kaushal Kendra), Mrs. Bindu kohli, Mrs. Parvashi & Ms. Aditi were also present.
