Nisthha, the student of Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya has brought laurels to the institution by winning the title of Anokhi Adakaara at Miss PTC Punjabi 2019. She was amongst the top 9 finalist and her talent was applauded by one and all. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen she made her way to the finale and was the only girl from Jalandhar to reach at Top 9.
Speaking about her journey to finale, she said that the hard work, patience and willingness to chase the dreams became her strengths to make her presence felt during the auditions. During the other rounds she focused on her overall personality and cleared every round with standing ovations. She further thanked her teachers for bringing out the best of the talent in her and polishing her in every phase of life. She said that these shows are not just the competitions in themselves but they really help the individuals to grow and learn. She also thanked her parents for encouraging her at every step and helping her to chase her dreams. Principal Prof Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated her and wished her luck for the future. She said that this achievement is going to be the motivation for other students to showcase their talent at the bigger platforms. On this occasion Mrs. Rama Sharma, HOD Mass Communication & Video Production, Mrs. Jyoti Sehgal were also present.
