Workshop on Noise Pollution organized at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School




When the amount of noise exceeds, it becomes dangerous for living beings. Keeping this in mind and sensitize students about growing level of noise, the disturbance caused by it and how it can be controlled, a workshop on ‘Noise Pollution’ was organized at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. school under the visionary guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and relentless efforts of coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal. In order to keep students well informed the Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen laid emphasis on awareness of such environmental issues like save water, air pollution & noise pollution etc through these events.
The resource persons Prof. M.P. singh, Prof. Beri and. Divya Prabhakar (software engineer) were welcomed by coordinator by presenting planters. Prof. M.P. Singh apprised students that how an unpleasant sound causes disruption in natural balance especially noise is at its peak in most of the social events and it can be largely curbed by spreading public awareness by providing factual information of the harmful effects of noise. He also told students the maximum sound permissible is 7 decibels. Coordinator   Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal also stressed on creating more and more awareness among people and she encouraged students to come forward to reduce this most rampant pollution.
On this occasion students also pledged that, they with all means try to reduce the noise pollution. They will aware people regarding its bad effect and try to make a peaceful society.
