Vidyalaya was honored in the 71st Republic Day Celebrations held at
Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen told that
the patriotic dance performed by the students of HMV enthralled one and all in
the patriotic fervor. More than 80 students participated in the cultural
programme and they were declared overall winners for the same. Dr. Anjana
Bhatia, Dean Equal Opportunities Cell of the college was also honored during
the event for carrying out social outreach activities under Student Bridge Gap
Programme and Swach Campaign. Ms. Mayur Dhanraj, an excellent sports girl of
the college was also awarded by District Administration during the event for
her outstanding performance in International Cycling. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs.
Ajay Sareen congratulated Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Dr. Anjana
Bhatia, Dr. Pooja Minhas, Ms. Harmeet.
Sports Coordinator, Ms. Mayuri and all the students for their outstanding
achievements.
