The NSS unit of Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya celebrated 31st Road Safety Week under the
able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. Around 80 volunteers of
NSS participated in this program under Program Officer Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr.
Anjana Bhatia. They made the people aware about road safety. The volunteers
made the passerby people aware about the importance of wearing helmets while
driving two-wheelers. The volunteers said that our life is important not only
for us but for our family also so we should take all the precautions.
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs.
Ajay Sareen said that the number of road accidents is increasing day by day. In
order to control it, we should make the people aware about road safety measures
because our life is very precious. It is our prime duty to protect life.
Program officers Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Anjana Bhatia also encouraged the
volunteers and people for adopting road safety measures.
