NSS unit of HMV organised various competitions to encourage sustainable development


The NSS unit of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised competitions to encourage sustainable development through online mode in collaboration with Punjab Biodiversity Board under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. Various competitions were organized under guidance of Programme Officers Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Anjana Bhatia. The students participated in poster making competition on the topic “Biodiversity in Nature”. Photography competition was organized on the topic “Biodiversity in Nature”. Video making competition was organized under the topic “Show your sympathy”. The students enthusiastically participated with enthusiasm and zeal in all the competitions. Principal Prof. Dr. Ajay Sareen appreciated the students for their whole hearted participation and said that it is our prime duty to protect and conserve nature. We should always respect the beauty of nature and contribute in making the nature pure. Program coordinators Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Anjana Bhatia made the students aware about the sustainable development and appreciated their efforts.

In Capture the Beauty competition, Km. Bhavya and Km. Gurkirat got 1st prize, Km. Ayushi and Km. Anjali Kalyan got 2nd prize and Km. Shweta and Km. Supriya got 3rd prize. Consolation prize was given to Km. Nishita and Km. Vani Middha. Appreciation award was given to Km. Gurviner Kaur, Km. Ishpreet, Km. Deepanshi Sharma, Km. Namrata, Km. Jaspinder Kaur, Km. Rohini Sharma, Km. Jyotsifat Kaur, Km. Prerna Narang, Km. Shivani, Km. Himanshi, Km. Lavanya and Km. Manpreet. In Poster Making competition, Km. Chetan got 1st, Km. Sanyukta Gupta got 2nd and Km. Republin got 3rd prize. Km. Ridhim got appreciation award. In show your sympathy, Km. Nancy got 1st prize and Km. Shivani got 2nd prize. The judges were Mrs. Alka Sharma (Political Science Department) and Mrs. Pawan Kumari (Hindi Department). Principal Dr. Sareen and Program Coordinators gave their best wishes to the students.
