Vidyalaya celebrated virtually 113th Birth Anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat
Singh. The department of History, under the able guidance of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen presented a Power Point Presentation on the life of
Indian socialist, revolutionary Shaheed Bhagat Singh, whose act of dramatic
violence against the British and execution at the age of 23 made him a hero of
the India’s national freedom struggle.

Sareen congratulated the faculty of history department for their effort in
showcasing the life of great freedom fighter. She said that just like Shaheed
Bhagat Singh at a tender age of 23, sacrificed his life for the cause of an
independent India; such passion if displayed and observed by youth of today,
will definitely help our country to reach new heights.
The Head History
Department, Mrs. Protima Mander encouraged the students to draw inspiration
from the life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The students Raunika, Shreya, Varanjeet
and Kirti gave their views about the sacrifice of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
