HMV Collegiate School Students maintained Eco-Garden with waste material

 


The students of HMV Collegiate Senior Secondary School have maintained Eco-Garden with waste material which is very impressive. This Eco-Garden has been prepared under school coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of school students and told that HMV is running many projects of waste management and this Eco-Garden is one of them. The students have used waste tyres as flower pots. The students have prepared a beautiful path with waste plastic bottles. They have used waste tokries for hanging plants. They have prepared gate of Eco-Garden with waste paint boxes. Waste bicycle and clothes have been used to prepare a beautiful installation. A beautiful fountain in Eco Garden has been prepared with waste taps and pipes. Dr. Sareen said that all the installations are very beautiful which depicts the creativity of the students. She said that HMV is contributing in “My waste my responsibility” campaign of Municipal Corporation. She said that we can be creative and positive at the same time while managing our waste. She appreciated the efforts of Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal and congratulated her for Eco Garden. Mrs. Meenkashi Sayal said that school organises Best Out Of Waste competitions time to time to inculcate habit of managing waste among students. Students have even prepared working models like vacuum pump, electric fan, hydraulic lift along with useful still products like Pen Stand, Photo Frame, Flower Pot and other decorative pieces from electronic waste.
