The NSS, NCC and Sports
Departments of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in Fit India
Freedom Run campaign of Youth and Sports Ministry, Government of India
under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Under this
campaign, the participants made the people of their neighborhood aware about
the importance of doing exercise, eating balanced nutritious diet and having a
positive attitude in these pandemic times. Participants followed the rules of
social distancing, wearing masks and sanitizers. Principal Dr. Sareen told that
during this campaign, the NCC cadets participated in a 24 km run. It is worth
mentioning that NCC unit of HMV has been declared as the best unit in recent
times. Dr. Sareen said that the spirit of volunteers, players and cadets is
appreciable and they are doing commendable work. In this pandemic time, it is
the duty of NGOs, Social organizations to aware the people about the
precautions to be taken in CORONA and help the government in controlling the
situation.

Mrs. Veena Arora and Ms. Harmanu Paul said that we should remain positive in
this tough time. They said that we can lead a healthy life by doing exercise
regularly and taking healthy diet. NSS volunteers also shared various yoga
asans through social media. On this occasion, ANO Lieutenant Sonia Mahendru,
Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Dr. Meenu Talwar were also present.
