NSS Volunteers of HMV got inspiration by virtual Ceremony



 

The NSS Volutneers of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar watched the award ceremony through virtual medium which was held at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi as per the direction of Govt. of India. In this award ceremony, President of India Sh. Ram Nath Kovind honored NSS volunteers for their commendable work. This programme was watched by NSS Volunteers of HMV while stayinig at home as per the directions of Government of India. NSS Programme Officers conveyed the volunteers about the programme in advance so that they can watch it timely and feel motivated. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that more than 4 crore students have volunteered for NSS. It is the prime duty of a student to be ready for serving the nation. She said that students should take inspiration from this programme and should make their target to serve the society. She said that all the NSS volunteers are special as they have choosen services as per their own wish. The NSS volunteers always enthusiastically take part in all the works. NSS programme Officers Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Anjana Bhatia told that HMV is contributing in service work from many years. Dr. Meenu Talwar said serving the humans is like serving God. The main objective of NSS is to develop the feeling of service among youth and make them responsible citizens. On this occasion, Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Ms. Harmanu Paul also encouraged the students. This special programme was watched by all the NSS volunteers, Programme Officers and Asstt. Programme Officers and all took an oath to serve the nation with loyalty & dedication.
