The NSS Volunteers of Hans Raj
Mahila Maha Vidyalaya participated in “Trash to Treasure” “My waste my
responsibility” campaign under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen & Dean Student Welfare Dr. Anjana Bhatia. This campaign
is being organised by Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar from 22nd
September to 15 October, 2020. It is a matter of pride for HMV that many
volunteers have participated in this campaign.
Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen congratulated the
volunteers and encouraged them. She said that it is our prime duty to clean our
surroundings. We should understand our responsibility and contribute whole
heartedly in this campaign. She appreciated this campaign of Municipal
Corporation, Jalandhar & assured that HMV will always be a part of their
endeavour.
Programme Officer Dr. Anjana Bhatia
encouraged the volunteers and congratulated them. She told that Km. Ishpreet Kaur
made a beautiful doll with waste newspapers. Km. Harmanpreet Kaur also made
decorative pieces with waste material. Programme Officers Mrs. Veena Arora
& Ms. Harmanu Paul also appreciated their efforts. Asst. Programme Officers
Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Dr. Meenu Talwar also encouraged the volunteers.
