by contributing together a Book Chapter in Springer, Singapore which appeared

Pata and Diksha Thakur, both students of M.Sc. Bioinformatics, fourth Semester
worked tirelessly along with their mentors Dr. Harpreet Singh, HOD and Mrs.
Purnima, Assistant Professor to complete this unique assignment. This book
chapter names "Computational Metagenomics: State-of-the-Art, Facts and
Artifacts" very well describes how Bioinformatics tools and strategies can
be used to efficiently study complex metagenomic populations from environmental
samples. This book chapter is a part of the Book titled "Metagenomics:
Techniques, Applications, Challenges and Opportunities", edited
by Reena Singh Chopra, Chirag Chopra and
Neeta Raj Sharma from School of Bioengineering and Biosciences Lovely
Professional University Jalandhar. Dr. Harpreet, HOD Bioinformatics said that

Department of Bioinformatics, HMV Jalandhar has always been setting new
standards by involving faculty, students
and its collaborators. This book chapter is also an output of a collaborative
effort. Mrs. Purnima mentioned that this online book chapter is getting many
