The
Commerce Club of PG Department of Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila
Maha Vidyalaya organized “NAVRANG –
Wearing Our Own Colors”, a cultural show by the students of B.Com Sem V. In
this event Bhangra, Giddha fusion and Bollywood style dance performances were
given by Tanvi, Jaspreet Kaur, Suman, Ritika, Ridhi and Manvi. Ritambhra,
Manpreet Kaur, Uttampreet Kaur and Aditi Rana gave melodious singing
performances. Lip syncing was done by Anjali, Namarta, Pallavi and Jaismine.
Skill presentation through painting and sketching was beautifully showcased by
Yukti and Jaismine. Clay modeling of Shri Ganesh Ji was done by Ridhi Chawla.
Parampreet Kaur, Simran, Republin, Komalpreet gave effective poetry
presentations. Punjabi Color was added to the event by Supandeep Kaur by
singing Boliyan. The whole event was effectively anchored and coordinated by
Radhika Verma and Ridhi Chawla.
Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the Commerce Club Incharge Mrs.
Binoo Gupta and Head PG Department of Commerce & Management Dr. Kanwaldeep
Kaur for the wonderful conduct of this event. She appreciated and applauded the
performances given by the students and said that life is a package of colours
from God to us and we must make the most of it. Ms. Shallu Batra, Co-Dean
Discipline acted as the guest of the event and blessed the students by saying
that May this Navrang bring new colours to your life and spread positivity.
Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Incharge of Commerce Club told that this event was conducted
with the purpose of 4E’s i.e. Envision-Explore-E-Connect-and Emotional
bonding. She said that students created a new vision of adding colours to
the monotonous routine, for this they explored new opportunities and talents to
self express through E-Connect with their faculty and fellow beings to
rejuvenate the emotional bonding between them. During this event another
remarkable feat was the unveiling of Departmental Magazine, Commerce Insight
(Volume 5) by Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The editor of the
magazine, Mrs. Binoo Gupta told that this magazine is an initiative of PG
Department of Commerce and Management to give wings to Imagination and Ideas of
young students of Commerce Department and celebrate the achievement of Commerce
Alumnae. Principal Dr. Sareen congratulated the Editor – Mrs. Binoo Gupta,
Co-Editor Mrs. Shefali Kashyap and Student Editor Jyot Sifat Kaur and all the
students who contributed their articles in the magazine. On this occasion more
than 150 students joined this online event apart from faculty members – Mrs.
Navroop Kaur, Dean Youth Welfare, Mrs. Kranti Wadhwa, Dr. Seema Khanna, Mrs.
Kajal Puri, Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Mrs. Shefali Kashyap, Dr. Meenakshi Duggal, Mrs. Yuvika, Mrs. Ritu
Bahri, Mrs. Kanika Sharma and Mrs.
Manpreet.
