A charismatic, lilting music, new faces, beat of dance, flawless poetry, joy and laughter – with utmost new paradign shift of organizing AGAAZ-2020 held online on Zoom Platform in Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar on 9th November, 2020 for Commerce and Skill Students of UG, PG and Diploma Students under the dynamic directions of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The entire programme was artistically conducted with the guidelines of Mrs. Navroop (Officiating Principal), Overall Incharge of the event with her organizing secretaries Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Mrs. Urvashi Mishra. The function is a collaboration of Student Council and Youth Welfare Department and today is the day of Commerce and Skill Development Department. The Event Incharge Mrs. Meenu Kohli and team put whole hearted efforts to organize a dazzling show and students showcased their pabe of talent and were judged in various events like Monoacting, Mimicry, Poem Recitation, Duet & Group Dance and Modelling.
The Programme commenced with DAV Gaan and lightening of the lamp followed by Gayatri Mantra as per the tradition of HMV Family. The responsibility of judging the students were on the shoulders of esteemed faculty members Dr. Seema Khanna, Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur and Dr. Rakhi Mehta. The entire show was smoothly & technically handled by Mr. Rishabh Dhir and Mr. Arvind Chandi.
In her warm address to the students, Mrs. Navroop (officiating Principal) welcomed all the students by introducing HMV as proud institute imparting girl education working on Principles of Mahatma Hans Raj Ji and conveyed the blessings on behalf of Padam Shri Dr. Punam Suri Ji and Madam Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The student event moderators Mansi and Gurkirat phenomenally conducted the show. The event ended with announcing the proud winners were Ms. HMV Freshers Pooja (B.Com Ist Sem.), Ist runners up Saloni Sharma (BBA Ist Sem.), IInd runner up Gurnoor PG Diploma FD, Best song Manisha (M.Com), Best Poem Gaurika (B.Com), Best Dance Gurleen (B.Com) Ist, Sejal (FD) IInd, Best Monoacting Harmanpreet (B.Com). To conclude the event Mrs. Meenu Kohli gave vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
