The vivacious students of humanities of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya presented a Kaleidoscope of dances, songs and poems on the virtual platform marking the occasion of Aagaaz-2020 under the visionary guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The colourful and vibrant event was organized under the coordination of Dean Discipline Dr. Ashmeen Kaur and Dean Student Council Mrs. Urvashi Mishra.
The event began with the recital of pious Gayatri Mantra and DAV Anthem. Showering her love and blessings over the new entrants, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that the institution is committd to provide quality education and a secure future to the girls. Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop Kaur also welcomed the new students and elaborated on the glorious history and traditions of HMV. Mrs. Veena Arora welcomed Principal Dr. Sareen on this occasion.
Overall Event Incharge Dr. Ashmeen Kaur and Event Incharges Mrs. Veena Arora, Mrs. Alka, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur, Mrs. Jyotika Minhas, Mrs. Satwinder Kaur, Ms. Sandeep Kaur, Ms. Shallu Batra, Dr. Santosh Khanna, Mrs. Protima and Mrs. Pawan Kumari worked together to bring forth the talent of students in the fields of Monoacting, Mimicry, Skit, Songs, Poems, Dances, Modelling and Guitar Playing.
The participants were adjudged by Mrs. Veena Arora and Mrs. Ritu Bajaj. Km. Manvi received Second Runner up, Km. Avleen Kaur got first Runner up position and Km. Nivya got the title of Ms. HMV. Km Nancy got first prize in Dance, Km. Neelam Jyoti in Monoacting, Km. Surbhi in Song, Km. Komal & Km. Khushi got second prize in song. In poetical recitation Km. Kriti bagged first position, Km. Drishti and Km. Gursimran stood second and Km. Gurwinder stood third. Km Komal and Km. Khushi received special prizes.
Mrs. Ritu Bajaj gave the vote of thanks and congratulated the participants and the winners . She wished a bright future to the students. The stage was conducted by Km. Navjot and Km. Gurkirat.
