The Innovative students of Science and Technology of HansRaj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar marked the beginning of Aagaaz -2020 with a variegated display of events like modeling ,dances, songs, skit, poems, mimicry, riddles and quiz using virtual platform zoom under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The entire programme was organized under the direction of Mrs Navroop Dean youth welfare and the organizing secretaries Mrs Urvashi Mishra (Dean Student Council) and Dr Anjana Bhatia (Dean Student Welfare).
The Programme began with DAV Gaan and lightening of the lamp followed by a classical dance performance and other events.
Overall Event Incharge Dr (Mrs.) Sangeeta Arora congratulated students for joining BEST COLLEGE which imparted innovative and productive teaching to students for developing their versatile personality. She welcomed principal for showering her blessings on students.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed all the new students to HMV family and ensured the holistic growth of their personalities. She appreciated the efforts of youth welfare Department and Student Council for organizing this virtual programme with great enthusiasm during COVID-19. She thanked and also appreciated the confidence of student moderators Vani Midda and Palak.
The performances of participants were adjudged by Mrs Sangeeta Bhandari, Mrs Gagandeep and Mrs Purnima. Dr Anjana Bhatia announced the proud winners Ms HMV Freshers Harpreet (Bsc-Non Med), 1st Runners up Yashika bedi Bsc(Bio Tech), 2nd Runners up Sakshi (BSc-Non Med). First in dance Nitasha (BCA), second in dance Sakshi BSc(Non Med), First in song Pallavi BSc(Med), second in song Alka (MSc), first in Poem Meenal BSc(Bio Info), second in poem Amanpreet MSc( Botany). Best performance in mimicry by Renuka of M.Sc.(Chemistry). Special appreciation for class BCA for Skit performance and Group dance Bsc-IT. Sukhmandeep, first year student delivered thanks speech for organizing such a wonderful event. The entire show was technically and flawlessly handled by Mr Rajesh and Mr. Vidhu. Dr Anjana Bhatia concluded by giving vote of thanks and congratulated the participants and the winners.
