Keeping its old traditions, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Diwali celebration Happy Diwali Muskurahat Wali under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Dr. Sareen addressed the faculty and staff members and said that Diwali is a festival of happiness and happiness increases with sharing. This Diwali, HMV’s each member will try to put a smile on someone’s face. With this, we will celebrate Diwali in its true sense. She also shared the best wishes of President DAVCMC Padmashree Dr. Punam Suri and Chairman Local Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud with the staff members. She said that this time, HMV members will celebrate Swadeshi Diwali. They will use Swadeshi things and put a step forward towards being Atamnirbhar. Dean Academics Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur also addressed the members and said that HMV always celebrate Diwali in an innovative way and this time our Diwali is Swdeshi and Muskurahat Wali. She congratulated all on this occasion. Staff Secretary Dr. Seema Khanna also prayed to the Almighty and gave her best wishes. Representing Non-Teaching staff members, Mr. Ravi Maini also gave best wishes to everyone and encouraged the staff members to celebrate Swadeshi Diwali. All the Deans & Faculty Incharges were present. They lighted the Diyas decorated by the Fashion Design and Fine Arts Departments of the College. The programme was conducted by Dean Student Welfare Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
