A condolence meeting was
conducted by Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya in the presence of Principal Prof.
Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen to mourn the sad demise of Sh. R.S. Sharma, General
Secretary, DAVCMC.
Expressing deep sorrow and
shock over the great loss, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen prayed
Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul. She said that Sh. R.S.
Sharma was a great educationist and academician besides being a guide, mentor
& an able administrator. A sublime existence, an epitome of nobility, an
embodiment of the Principles of Arya Samaj, he led a life of high ethical and
intellectual capacity & inspired DAVians with his incessant efforts &
mammoth contribution towards the cause of education.
Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Head of Hindi
Department said that Sh. R.S. Sharma’s demise has created a vacuum which can
never be filled. She recollected her memories from the past and shared some
moments of nostalgia, while speaking about the erudite personality. Superindent
Mr. Lakhwinder Singh showered praises on Sh. R.S. Sharma for his contributions
in the field of education.
Dr. Seema Khanna, Staff Secretary
said that we should try to follow the footsteps of this great personality.
Dr. Prem Sagar also shared his
memories and said that he was a great orator. At the end, Dr. Meenu Talwar,
Head of Sanskrit Department recited Shanti Path. The stage was conducted by Dr.
Anjana Bhatia.
