An International Webinar on
“Nirvan Diwas of Mahatma Hansraj Ji” was organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. The programme was coordinated by Dean Vedic Studies Mrs. Mamta, Head of
Sanskrit Department Dr. Meenu Talwar, Head of Hindi Department Dr. Jyoti Gogia.
The programme commenced with Gaytri Mantra and DAV Gaan as per the tradition of
HMV Family.
On this auspicious occasion
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen welcomed the guests and envisaged her
thought by giving vision of Mahatma Hans Raj Ji who emphasized on Women
Education and Women Empowerment. As women education is need of the hour so as
the motto of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya who is constantly working in this
direction. She told that many of our college students are being designated on
prestigious seats. She thanked the President DAVCMC, New Delhi Padmashree Dr.
Punam Suri Ji whose constent motivation helps to organize such events.
The esteemed speaker Prof.
Anand Vardhan Sharma (Sofia University), Sofia Bulgaria and Dr. Yogesh Sharma,
PG DAV College, Delhi University presented thoughts provoking speech on Mahatma
Hans Raj Ji. Dr. Anand Vardhan Sharma Ji thanked the Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen
to be the part of the event and defined Mahatma Hansraj Ji to be Yugpursh and
his enormous contribution to the society is a boon. He emphasized on teachings
of Mahatma Hansraj Ji which is considered to the motivation for the society.
Towards the end of programme
the event coordinator Dr. Meenu Talwar thanked all the esteemed speakers and
motivated to follow the principles of Mahatma Hansraj Ji. Dean Vedic Studies
Mrs. Mamta also thanked President DAVCMC, New Delhi Padmashree Dr. Punam Suri
Ji, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and all the speakers to be the part
