Reducing
stress in everyday life is vital for maintaining overall health and to prepare
our students to deal with stressful situations and be calm in adverse
situation, HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized Online Activity Based
Workshop on stressfree successful and
meaningful life in association with Bhartiya Yog Avam Prabandhan Sansthan under
the dynamic guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen.
The
event commenced with traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by Gayatri
Mantra. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen extended formal welcome to the
esteemed experts Mrs. Shashi Khullar, Acharya (IIYM) and Dr. Sunita Paul,
Gynecologist and Acharya (IIYM). Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen inspired
students to practice relaxation techniques, try meditation and exercise
regularly to manage and fight stress better and learn to make time for hobbies,
interests and get enough rest and sleep to recover from stress. Students
participated energetically and also asked question from the experts. Mrs.
Shashi Khullar told students some useful tips to fight stress and also advised
students to adopt healthy life style and build a closer bond with nature.
She
also encouraged students to adopt positive attitude, fulfil their commitments
towards life and accept the events that they cannot control and always be
thankful to God for blessings they are
endowed with. The second resource person Dr. Sunita Paul also apprised students
about techniques to improve their concentration and how to reach our
consciousness by practicing some useful meditation exercises. Students learnt a
great deal of knowledge and information about managing stress. School
coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal extended vote of thanks and assured students to
have more interactive sessions for their overall development. Mrs. Jaspreet
Kaur was the moderator of the event.
