Valedictory Function of Seven Day Workshop Organized at HMV


 

The PG Department of Hindi successfully organized the valedictory function to conclude the seven day workshop organized by it at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen accorded a cordial welcome to the worthy guests Mrs. Babita Kaler  (Special Revenue and Rehabilitation Officer) and Sh. Ravinder Shukal (International President, Hindi Sahitya Bharti). The event began with Saraswati Vandna. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen in her welcome address congratulated Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Convener, Mrs. Pawan Kumari and Dr. Deepti Dhir, Co-Convener for the successful conduct of the workshop. She also expressed her thanks to the DAV College Managing Committee for its incessant support and motivation to hold such events. She remarked on a note of optimum that the workshop has proved fruitful to the participants and exhorted the members to promote Hindi Language to the maximum.

The Chief Guest Mrs. Babita Kaler felt elated to be a part of the event and detailed that Hindi serves as a bridge to link India into one nation. She further said Hindi language should be given its due status. Sh. Ravinder Shukal also urged the students to use this language and told about its importance. He also proposed to prepare a Keyboard of Hindi Language.

The Keynote Speaker Sh. Mukesh Sharma (President, World Language Academy) explained about the translation techniques in the digitalized scenario. During the seven days Dr. Kiran Khanna (DAV Amritsar), Dr. Janardhan (University of Allahabad), Dr. Shuchi Makan (Professor Uttrakhand), Dr. AnuShobha (KMV, Jalandhar), Mrs. Binoo Rajput (Film Director and Production), Mrs. Neena Sareen (Language Teacher, America) and Mrs. Narinder Kaur (Akashvani) elaborated on the importance of Hindi language and the process of translation.

Mrs. Pawan Kumari presented a brief report of the activities. Km. Rachna and Kumari Aarti expressed their views about the workshop. Dr. Jyoti Gogia presented the vote of thanks to mark the end of the event.
