Club of PG department of Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha
Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organised online Inter Class activity cum competition Positive
Revelations. Mrs Binoo Gupta, Incharge Commerce Club told that video
presentations were invited from students in which they presented how they
turned the lockdown period into productive and positive for themselves.
30 entries were received from students
of the Commerce Department. They had made presentation of all activities
ranging from skill enhancement to pursuing a hobby, or even engaging in
household activities. She told the purpose behind conducting this activity
was to spread the message of positivity among students and at the same time
provide Peer motivation to others. The
videos were uploaded on the YouTube channel of Commerce club and on the basis
of number of likes received B.Com Sem V k2 section stood first, B.Voc (Banking
& Financial Services) Sem III stood second and BBA sem III stood third. The
following students were adjudged as the winners: Aditi Rana, Ridhi Chawla and Jyot Sifat Kaur
bagged the bracketed first position,
Taranpreet Kaur stood second, Anamika
Chauhan and Yamini stood bracketed
third. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen congratulated Commerce Club Incharge and the students for channelizing
their energy to create positive
environment. She said turning adversity into opportunity is what makes a
difference in the outlook and personality of a student and is of utmost
importance in current and post COVID-19 era. Mrs. Ritu Bahri, Ms. Anjali Bedi
and Mrs. Kanika Sharma were associated with the team for the successful conduct
of competition.
