Planning Forum, the Subject Society of PG
Department of Economics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized an e-poetry
recitation competition under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.)
Ajay Sareen. The themes of the competition were related to current economic
issues i.e. New Education Policy, Impact of COVID-19 on the Indian economy.
Students participated enthusiastically in the competition and presented their views
on various issues. Some of them also presented their self written poems.
Rajveer Kaur, B.Sc. Computer Science Sem V, Ishpreet Kaur, BA Sem-V and Jyot
Sifat Kaur, B.Com Financial Services Sem-III got first, second and third
positions respectively. Judges of the competition Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Head, Hindi
Department and Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur, Dean Holistic Development congratulated all
the participants. Ms. Shallu Batra, Head, PG Department of Economics motivated
the students to participate in such kind of events for their holistic
development. Mrs. Chandrika, Mrs. Jyotika Minhas and Ms. Harmanu were also
present.
