The foundation day of Arya samaj was celebrated with Havan Yajna at Hans Raj Mahila Mahavidyalaya under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. This Havan was organised by Vedic Adhyayan society of a college. On this occasion well being of every human being was saught from the almighty. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that we bow our head in front of all the persons who had their contribution in Arya samaj. Institutions started by Arya samaj are playing a significant role in women education. They started women education institutes because they knew that women can educate whole society. Dean Academics Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur also congratulated all on this occasion. Head of Hindi department Dr. Jyoti Gogia said that Arya Samaj is the basis of New Era. Its teachings are humanity based. She said that we should follow the path shown by Arya samaj and try to make our lives better. All the members of teaching and non teaching staff were present.
