HMV Collegiate School has become the first choice of the students. It is working under the dynamic leadership of Padmashree Awardee Dr. Punam Suri, President DAVCMC, New Delhi and Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen. The school is achieving newer heights every day. The school organizes various events keeping in view the holistic growth of the students. The students of the school are achieving excellent marks and getting top positions in Punjab School Education Board Exams. This year, 45 students got more than 90% marks in board. In the session 2019-20, 47 students got more than 90% marks, 38 students got 85-90% marks, 32 students got 80-85% marks in 12th examination of Punjab School Education Board. Students from not only Punjab but other states of the country are also getting benefit through e-learning module of collegiate school. During summer vacations also, the school organized Finishing school in which students from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh learnt skills in Dance, Music, Cooking, Speaking, etc.
Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen said that the school always organizes competitions keeping in mind the core competencies of the students like creativity, innovation, critical thinking and analysis. Our students got 2nd position in India in Children Science Congress. We brought out first edition of the magazine ‘Srijan’, which includes the self-composed poems of the students. The Eco-Park of the school was highly appreciated by the Municipal Corporation of the city. Collegiate school Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal said that in Innovation Hub of the school, we teach concepts of science and maths to students through experiential learning. This institute is also recognized by Scouts and Guide. Head Girl Ms. Srishti said that being in hostel, she participated in various competitions and won prizes. The admission process is online as well as offline. The classes for 11th and 12th have already been started. The school is providing world class education to its students.
