H.M.V. Collegiate Sr. Sec. school celebrated "World Population Day"

 



 

Either we reduce the World's population voluntarily or nature will do this for us. Population is a primary source of environmental damage. In order to sensitize the students about the alarming situation, H.M.V. Collegiate Sr. Sec. School celebrated "world population day". On this occasion, students prepared various skits to convey the message of population control. The event was organized under the dynamic guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen and School Co-ordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Syal. Students beautifully presented that increase in population has created many serious problems like scarcity of resources, unemployment, social evils etc. Increasing population is a threat to the environment as well. They also emphasized on the idea of "Small Family Happy Family".  The students urged that its high time to take sincere steps to curb the population rise. H.M.V. always remains in frontline to motivate and encourage the students by organizing such activities time and again. These activities create awareness among the students. Principal Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen appreciated the efforts of students and highlighted the importance of population control to make this world a better place to live in. School coordinator- Mrs. Meenakshi Syal also encouraged the students and emphasized that we all should work together to create awareness among the society. Overall incharge of the event was Ms. Sukriti Sharma.
