Mahila Maha Vidyalaya added another feather in its cap by scoring highest NAAC
Grade A++ nationwide. HMV scored 3.65 marks out of 4 in 3rd cycle. A
celebration was held in college premises regarding the same. The Chief Guest of
the occasion was Chairman Local Committee and Vice President DAVCMC Justice
(Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud & his wife Mrs. Arunima Sud. On this occasion,
Secretary DAVCMC Mr. Arvind Ghai, his wife Mrs. Rashmi Ghai, Secretary, DAVCMC
Mr. Ajay Goswami, Member Local Committee Sh. Irwin Khanna, Sh. Surendra Seth,
Sh. Ashok Pruthi, Sh. Kundan Lal Aggarwal, Dr. Sushma Chawla, Sh. S.P. Sehdev,
Dr. Pawan Gupta, Principal Anup Vats, Principal Kiran, Principal Dr. Ekta
Khosla, Dr. Rajeev Deol, MLA Sushil Rinku, Councillor Sh. Harjinder Singh Ladda
were also present. From HMV Alumnae Association Mrs. Sarvinder Kaur, Ms.
Ramanpreet Kaur, Mrs. Kiranpreet Kaur Dhami and Dr. Sarla Bhardwaj were also
present. In her address Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen first of all thanked the Almighty
for this day. She thanked President DAVCMC Arya Rattan Dr. Punam Suri, Padam Shri
Awardee for his continuous support. She said that HMV scored highest score
nationwide in 3rd cycle and maintained its position in NAAC ranking.
She told that in NAAC report, the members wrote that HMV is a girl’s
institution dedicated to value education. She expressed her gratitude towards
whole Managing Committee for their continuous support and assured that HMV will
maintain this position in future also. She said that Arya Samaj will also feel
proud of HMV. Chairman Local Committee Justice (Retd.) Sh. N.K. Sud also
congratulated the HMV family and prayed for its bright future ahead. Sh. Arvind
Ghai and Sh. Ajay Goswami also congratulated the HMV family. MLA Mr. Sushil
Rinku also gave his best wishes to the institution. Cultural programme was also
organized on this occasion. The students presented folk orchestra, folk song,
classical dance, Choreography. Dr. Santosh Khanna Head of Department Music
Instrumental also presented Sitar. Stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen thanked Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur, Dr. Ekta Khosla, NAAC
Core Committee members, teaching, non-teaching & supporting staff.
