HMV Organized Various Competitions

 

Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized various competitions in collaboration with Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The students participated in these competitions with full enthusiasm. The topic of competitions was “Election, Democracy & People”. Essay Writing Competition, Debate Competition and Skit Competition were organized. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen congratulated coordinator Mrs. Nita Malik, Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Co-Coordinator Dr. Jiwan Devi. She said that such competitions make the students aware and confident. The students become more developed & self reliant. She also congratulated the winners. In Essay Writing Competition, Km. Tarunika, HMV  & Km. Lovepreet, Lyalpur Khalsa College got 1^st position, Km. Sonia, HMV & Km. Ritika, HMV got 2^nd position, Km. Yogita, Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar College got 3^rd position. Consolation prize was given to Km. Rupinder Kaur, DAVIET & Km. Arti Kumari, Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar College. In Debate Competition Km. Jasraj HMV & Km. Sakshi Sharma, Lyalpur Khalsa College got 1^st prize, Km. Poonam Kumari, Lyalpur Khalsa College & Km. Diya Sharma, DAVIET got 2^nd prize, Km. Genus Preet Kaur, DAVIET got 3^rd prize and Km. Sukhmandeep Kaur, HMV got consolation prize. In Skit Competition, team of HMV got 1^st prize. The Judges were Mrs. Mamta from English Department, Mrs. Pawan Kumari from Hindi Department, Mrs. Kuljit Kaur from Punjabi Department, Mrs. Protima Mander from History Department, Mrs. Veena Arora from Punjabi Department, Mrs. Kajal Puri from Commerce Department and Dr. Sandeep Kaur from Punjabi Department Stage was conducted by Mrs. Lovleen Kaur from English Department.
