The
pious chants of the mantras and incensed air set the right aura for the start
of the beginning of new Semester at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar.
Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean
Faculty Sciences Dr. Neelam Sharma, Superintendents Mr. Pankaj Jyoti, Mr.
Lakhwinder Singh, Mr. Ravi Maini and Supporting Staff Member Mr. Ram Lubhaya
circled around the Holy Yajna Kund to recite the shlokas and seek the blessings
of the Almighty. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen in her address offered a warm
welcome to the even semester UG & PG students and motivated them to work
hard and fulfill their dreams. Conveying the blessings of Padmashri Dr. Punam
Suri, President DAV College Managing Committee, she prayed for the success of
the students. Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha thanked all the staff members
present there and advised all the students to attend their classes regularly following
the protocols of COVID-19. Head of Sanskrit Department Dr. Meenu Talwar
conducted the stage. On this occasion, all the teaching and non-teaching staff
members were also present.
