A series of Guest Lectures on ‘Online Trading Operations’ were
organized by the PG Department of
Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar for the
students of B.Voc (Banking and Financial Services) under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen . Mrs. Divya Nanda, Cluster Manager, RBL Bank,
Model Town Branch, Jalandhar was the Resource Person. The students were given
practical insights into the online trading operations such as Depository, NSDL,
CDSL, Demat, Clearing and Settlement Procedure, SENSEX, NIFTY, Stop Loss, Order
Booking, Statement of Shares etc. The actual placement of Trading Order was
also demonstrated to the students. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
congratulated Head of the Department Mrs. Meenu Kohli and motivated to organize
such events in future also.
