Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidayalaya, Jalandhar paid tribute with a
heavy heart to departed soul Bharta Ratna Lata Mangeshkar. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, all the members of teaching, non-teaching and supporting
staff paid tribute to the nightingale of India. On this occasion Dr. Shikha
from Patel Hospital was also present. Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dean Innovation and
Research told about the motivational life journey of Lata Mangeshkar. Dr. Prem
Sagar, Head of Music (V) Department and Mrs. Gagandeep Head of Mathematics
Department sang the songs of Lata Mangeshkar. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen sent her soulful prayers through floral tribute to the departed soul.
She said that with Lata Mangeshkar an era of Music has ended. Nobody can fill
the vacuum created by her. On this occasion students of Student Council were
also present.
