The
non-teaching staff of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar celebrated
Rishi Bodh Utsav by organizing Langar under the able guidance of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. The non-teaching staff members organized Langar
of Kheer and Fritters and distributed it among the hostel students and general
public. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that we
can see the atmosphere of unrest in the whole world. In such a scenario, we can
turn our life towards peace by following the path shown by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati
Ji. Maharishi Dayanand Ji had self realization in the age of 14 years and we
celebrate this day as Rishi Bodh Utsav. We pay tribute to this great
personality and langar is a part of our tradition. She also appreciated the
efforts of non-teaching staff members. Supdt. Admin Mr. Ravi Maini said that we
should leave our ego, greed and other evils so that we can live a peaceful
life. Supdt. A/c Mr. Pankaj Jyoti said that we should all contribute for the
development of Arya Samaj. Only then the objective behind celebrating Rishi
Bodh Utsav is going to be a success. Supdt. General Mr. Lakhwinder Singh said
that on this day, we all should take a pledge to remove evils from the society.
On this occasion, all the members of non-teaching staff, Mr. Sushil Kumar, Asst. Prof. in Physics and Dr.
Meenu Talwar, Head of Sanskrit Department were also present.
