Mathematics Department of HMV Celebrated Pi-Day

 

The PG Department of Mathematics of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar celebrated Pi-Day by organizing Poster Making Competition on Mathematics in 3-D under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Km. Banita of B.Sc. Sem VI bagged first prize, Ms. Poornima of B.Sc. Sem VI bagged second prize, Harshita of B.Sc. Sem VI and Ms. Himani of M.Sc. Sem II got third prize. Mrs. Navroop, Head of Punjabi Department, Dr. Neelam Sharma, Head of Chemistry Department, Mrs. Saloni Sharma, Head of Physics Department and Mrs. Gagandeep Head of Mathematics Department acted as judges of the event congratulated the students. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen said that by celebrating various days, we can always make our students aware about the importance of such days. On this occasion Dr. Deepali, Dr. Gaurav Verma and Ms. Charanjeet were also present.
