When people are connected, things fall
into place. Realizing this notion of human connections and connecting people
for the cause of the good, Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalya, Jalandhar organized
its Alumnae Meet Punarmilan-2022 under the banner of HMV Alumnae Welfare
Association. The very vibrant Principal, Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen graced
the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event began with the lighting of lamp and
DAV anthem. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen saluted the spirit of the energetic team
of Alumnae Association and welcomed all the alumnae to their own institution.
She talked about the soulful connection of the alumnae with the college which
makes them feel nostalgic over the glorious moments spent in the nook and
corners of HMV. They are the ambassadors of values and ethics ingrained into
their personalities during their stay at HMV and the institute takes pride in
witnessing their grand success. HMV has groomed them up to stand apart from the
crowd. It is heartening to see such successful people which affirm that HMV has
always succeeded in providing good global citizens. She exhorted the alumnae to
visit the institution to impart wisdom and knowledge to the youth, which they
gained from the experience of their lives. Secretary Mrs. Binoo Gupta also
welcomed the guests and gave a glimpse of activities done by the association.
She expressed heartiest thanks to the alumnae who are contributing towards many

Association Mrs. Rashmi Khurana conveyed
her best wishes virtually. Dr. Sangeena, Ms. Anu Chadha, ADC Mrs. Anupam Kaler,
Ms. Manju Ahuja, Dr. Ashu Handa were specially honoured for joining the
Association. A book penned by Mrs. Sarla Bhardwaj was released with great
enthusiasm. Mrs. Veena Joshi thrilled the audience with her melodious song. The
attraction of the event were the modeling rounds which were judged by Dr.
Anjana Bhatia, Dr. Rakhi Mehta and Mrs. Navneeta. Mrs. Sarojini Sharda, Mrs.
Anupam Kaler, Mrs. Veena Joshi, Mrs. Binoo Gupta,Mrs. Gurkeerat, Mrs.Shaveta,
Mrs. Seema Soni, Dr. Jyoti Gogia, Mrs. Kulwinder and Mrs. Shaweta Sharma were
presented with various Punjabi titles. Ms. Shruti, Dr. Seema Khanna and Mrs.
Vinay Khullar became winners of lucky dip. The event was expertly organized by
Ms. Kiranpreet Dhami, President Alumnae Association, Mrs. Binoo Gupta,
Secretary, Mrs. Savita Mahendru, Joint Secretary and Mrs. Kajal Puri,
Treasurer. The audience enjoyed the spectacular cultural performance by
students and alumnae. The members of technical team, Mrs. Mukti and Dr. Pooja
Manhas were also honoured for their contribution towards organizing the Alumnae
Meet. Mrs. Savita Mahendru gave the vote of thanks. The stage was ably
