An interaction with Nodal Officers, faculty members
and students of PMSSS for J&K and Ladakh studying in Jalandhar district was
organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar. The Resource Person was
Prof. Ajeet Angral, Consultant PMSSS, UTs of J&K and Ladakh, AICTE, New
Delhi. First of all, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs) Ajay Sareen welcomed the Chief Guest
and Resource Person Prof. Angral, Nodal Officers, faculty members and students
of the PMSSS. Prof Ajeet Angral was honoured with Phulkari, Planter and
painting of HMV made by students. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen motivated the students to follow rules and
regulations, to work hard and to achieve their goals. She added that students
from the different villages studying in this institution are the role models
for other students. She also put light on the well-being of the students in the
institution. Prof Ajeet Angral guided students about rules and regulations and
procedures of Prime Minister Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS). He also
actively interacted with students to know their emotional and academic
well-being. He talked about parents care and love especially of mothers' love
for their children. His statement that “BACHE
TOH MAA-BAAP KE LIYE HMESHA BACHE HI REHTE HAIN” touched
everyone's heart. He also expressed his love for students that made everyone
happy. Prof. Angral also appreciated the efforts made by HMV for well-being of
students and showered his blessings to all students. He emphasized that “THE BEAUTIFUL TEACHER IS ONE WHO IS ABLE TO
CONVERT THE ATTENTION OF STUDENTS FROM DISCO TO SATSANG.” He also
advised students to build their capacity/stamina for being successful in life.
Dr. Shallu Batra, Dean Discipline and Nodal Officer also motivated the students
and appreciated the efforts made by AICTE and Prof. Ajeet Angral for the
benefits of the students of J&K and Ladakh. Dr. Seema Marwaha, Dean
Academics also addressed the students and concluded the session. The session
was very informative, interactive and thought provoking. Dr. Ashmeen Kaur, IQAC
Coordinator, Mrs Binoo Gupta, Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dean Innovation
and Research, Mr. Lalit Singla and Mrs. Kanwaljeet Kaur,
MHR DAV Institute of Nursing, Ms. Renuka Malhotra, DAV College, Jalandhar, Mr
Jagjeet Malhotra, DAVIET Jalandhar were
also present during the occasion.
