Collegiate Sr. Sec. School awarded with the BEST SCHOOL OF THE YEAR Award, located
in the campus of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is dedicated to the cause of
providing value based skill oriented education to the girls and empowering them
since 1927. The institution is managed by DAV College Managing Committee,
operating under sagacious guidance of Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Punam Suri,
President, DAVCMC, New Delhi. The institution provides safe, secure, sanitized
and conducive campus. Heavy rush is seen at the admission desk and students
from CBSE, ICSE and different state boards are eager to take admission in grade
XI and XII. Students can get admission in XII also even if they have passed
their XI from any other board. The school under the patronage of Principal
Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen offers education in the various streams like Medical,
Non-Medical, Commerce and Humanities. There are more than 100 combinations
available for humanities students in different subjects like social sciences,
computers, languages and performing art. In the recently declared Board result
of SSC 2 Sem 1, the students once again accomplished commendable scores. All
the students passed in the first division. Along with providing curriculum
based education, the school also prepares students for appearing in various
competitive exams like JEE, NEET, CA and other competitive exams at affordable
fee structure. The students are also provided with a large number of
scholarships and concessions, under different categories, Fatherless,
parentless, single girl child, poverty etc. School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi
Sayal, highlighting the glorious aspect of the school mentioned that the
students of 10+2 brought laurels by attaining brilliant marks in Board results.
Total of 30 students achieved more than 95% marks and total 95 students secured
more than 90% marks and proved the brilliancy of HMV Collegiate School. All the
students of SSC 2 passed in first division. Total 110 students secured 100% in
various subjects and made the proud of the Institute gets escalated. The
brilliant beaming is also shown by the students of 10+1 of HMV Collegiate. They secured top positions in various streams
and like every year the result of the session 2021-22 comes out to be 100% Nine
students attained more than 95% twenty six students achieved more than 90% and
seventeen students secured in between 85% and 90% 4 students got cent percent
marks in individual subjects. The school has lifetime membership of Hindustan
Scouts and Guides with an aim to provide multifaceted education to the students.
HMV Collegiate students became the OVERALL WINNER by proudly bagging the 7th
Dr. Amritlal Sehgal Commemorative Trophy by participating in various
competitions. The students enthusiastically participated in seven day long
Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyeta Festival of Scope for all, "Science Communication,
Popularization & its Extension.” Many students have also got admissions in
medical and engineering colleges after having passed their XII from HMV
Collegiate School. The school provides opportunities to the students to
participate in Inter School Competitions at National Level. Ira Bhatia of SSC 2
(Non-Medical) adds glory to our pride by attaining the first position in
Budding Scientist Category in the International Conference. The head girl of
the school. Arzoo Dhawan of SSCII (Arts), is overwhelmed with the enriching
experience she has gained from school. She gives credit to her institution for
her exemplary success in academics as well co curricular activities, Principal
