Interactive Lecture on the Significance of French Language organized at HMV Collegiate School

 




An expert interactive lecture was organised at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School about the scope, demand, career and job opportunities of French Language in India and Abroad. The resource person was Ms. Roshni Kohli, a distinguished French Teacher at Bhasha Gyanodhiya, New Delhi. As per the rich tradition of HMV, the expert lecture was commenced with lamp- lighting followed by DAV Gaan. The Resource Person was extended green welcome with a planter by the Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen conveyed her warm greetings to all and sundry in the premises of HMV, which is the college of excellence providing value based skill oriented education to the girls and empowering them since 1927. She focuses on the aspect of world becoming global village in which learning a new language adds golden feather in one's personality. The school coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal averred about the different opportunities provided by HMV Collegiate which excelled the students in scholastic and extra scholastic activities and turn them into nonpareil. Learning a new language adds skill and proficiency in students which opens new vistas of job opportunities and the interactive session on French language was meant to serve this purpose. The resource person Ms. Roshni Kohli elucidated about the significance of French language overall the world in the most captivating manner. She presented the pointers of the background of France and other aspects of French by which everybody presented connected with the language. She emphasised that Indians can learn new language swifter as compared to others due to their brain patterns. The details about the scholarships provided to the Indian students by France Government was also dispensed with. She taught formal and informal greetings in French Language in very interesting manner. Overall, the session turned out to be informative and highly useful for the students.
