The Freudian Psychological Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya ,
Jalandhar organised an event on celebrating 75 Years of India’s
Freedom on the topic “Ongoing Journey of India’s Psychological Freedom”. The
guest of the event Mrs. Sangeeta Bhatia,
Senior Counselor, MGN Public School, Jalandhar was welcomed by Dr. Ashmeen
Kaur, Head of the department of Psychology with a planter and a painting by the
students of HMV as a token of appreciation. On this occasion a bonanza of
events were presented related to the topic of Psychological Freedom. Ms. Roohani
presented a self written poem, Ms. Manvi and Ms. Man Kamal Kaur presented their
power point presentation explaining about the history of psychological freedom
in India. Ms. Priyanshu and Ms.
Kritagyata presented their views in the
form of speech addressing the various psychological aspects of freedom in day
to day life. Dr. Ashmeen Kaur expressed her views on psychological freedom and
the relevance of psychological freedom in our lives and its impact on mental
health. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen appreciated
the efforts of the department and the presentations made by the students.
Around 100 students from various streams attended the event. On this occasion,
faculty members Ms. Harmanjeet
Kaur, Ms. Pragya, Ms. Shruti Bidani and Ms. Niharika were also present.
