HMV celebrated its grand
accomplishment attained in India Today rankings-2022 with aplomb by singing,
dancing and distributing ladoos. The jubilant Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen informed that HMV feels proud to be ranked amongst Topmost colleges of
Punjab and India in seven streams in the Best College Survey 2022 of prestigious
India Today rankings. It has been ranked as First in Punjab in Commerce Stream,
First in Punjab in Science Stream, Second among Colleges of Punjab in
Humanities, amongst Top 10 Colleges of India with Best Value for Money, amongst
Top 5 Colleges in Punjab in Mass Communication, amongst Top 5 Colleges in
Punjab in BCA and amongst Top 5 Colleges in Punjab in Fashion Designing. The
elated Principal, Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen expressed her thanks to India
Today and congratulated the entire HMV
family for earning this accolade. She added that HMV has been consistently
ranked as No. 1 and excellent college in India by various agencies like The
Week Hansa Best College Survey, ASSOCHAM, FICCI, Outlook Magazine and many
other agencies. On this occasion, Justice NK Sud, Vice President, DAVCMC, New
Delhi showered his blessings and said that HMV is a well-knit family which
aspires to lead by exemplary zeal.
Project Coordinator Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Dean Innovations and Research
said that more than 42,000 institutes of higher education in India participated
in the 26th edition of the India Today Group’s annual ranking of colleges. Over
the years, this ranking has become the gold standard for stakeholders such as
recruiters, parents, alumni, policymakers, the general public and institutions.
112 performance indicators were screened under parameters like : ‘Intake
Quality and Governance’, ‘Academic Excellence’, ‘Infrastructure and Living
Experience’, ‘Personality and Leadership Development’ and ‘Career Progression
and Placement’. In addition, there was an attempt to gauge how colleges
prepared to handle the pandemic. During the celebrations all Faculty Incharges,
the data preparation team and entire faculty and staff expressed their
happiness by extending thunderous applause. Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen said that
all this was possible due to guidance and blessings of our mentors and
visionary leaders at DAVCMC, New Delhi.
