An
interactive lecture on the topic ‘Swaadhinta Se Swatantrata Ki Aur’ was
organized at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar under the banner of Azadi
Ka Amrit Mahotsav as per the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay
Sareen. Following the glorious tradition of HMV, the event started with the
lighting of Lamp and DAV Gaan. An eminent Advocate and Industrialist Sh. Arvind
Dhumal, Secretary Uddhyog Bharti All India, was the Resource Person of the day
and was given a green welcome by Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha. She also
welcomed Sh. Kankesh Gupta, President Panchnad Sodh Sansthan, Jalandhar
Chapter; Sh. S. K. Mishra, Registrar PTU; Sh. Vikram Arora, Panchnad Sodh Sansthan
All India; and Sh. Hemant Dhall, Cashier Panchnad Sodh Sansthan Jalandhar
Chapter. Sh. Kankesh Gupta put light on Panchnad Sodh Sansthan. Mr. Arvind
Dhumal, the resource person of the event, presented his views on India’s golden
past and its relevance to the present and future. He also recited some
inspirational poems to motivate the students. Thereafter, an interactive
session was held in which students’ queries were satisfied. Sh S. K. Mishra
extended his vote of thanks to the resource person and the guests. The stage
was conducted by Mrs. ProtimaMander. The event concluded with the National
Anthem. On this occasion Mrs. Nita Malik, Mrs. Pawan Kumari, Dr. Sandeep Kaur,
Mr. Neeraj Aggarwal and Mr. Sumit Sharma were also present.
