A Refresher Party ‘Aagaaz- 2022’ was
organized for all the UG and PG students of Humanities and Skilled Courses in
the premises of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar. Principal Prof. Dr.
(Mrs.) Ajay Sareen commenced the event by lightning the holy lamp. Followed by
the DAV Gaan, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen, in her address, welcomed and blessed
the rookie students. Further, she said to new buds we should attain success
through determined mind and by following the honest and true path in our life.
Moreover, Principal Dr. Ajay Sareen advised students to inculcate cultural and
moral values in their life and also wished them for their specular future.
Students organized cultural events and made the environment enthusiastic and
full of zest. Young girls participated in modelling, song singing, traditional
dance and Punjabi Bhangra. Dr. Santosh Khanna, Mrs. Nita Malik, Dr. Mamta,
Dr.Shallu Batra acted the role of judges for the eve. In the field of modelling
contest of UG Classes, Km. Pragati was declared Ms. Fresher while Ritika Bhagat
and Km. Mehak were given the title of first and second runner up in UG
modelling respectively. On the other hand, Km. Ishmanpreet Kaur was declared as
the Ms. Fresher in modelling competition from PG Classes. While, Km. Tamana and
and Km. Taranpreet bagged the position of first and second runner up in PG
modelling respectively. Additionally, Km. Harpreet kaur was given the title of Ms.
Dynamic, Km. Anant Kaur was announced as Ms. Sophisticated, Km. Arshdeep kaur
was declared as Ms. Punjaban and Km. Anhaddeep Kaur was selected as
charismatic. This beautiful event was organized by Mrs. Kuljit Kaur (Punjabi
Department), Dr.Jyoti Gogia (Head of the Hindi Department), Dr. Rakhi Mehta
(Fine Arts Department). The stage was conducted by Dr.JyotiGogia and mrs.
loveleenkaur. Km.Deepika delivered a speech with full of gusto. Dr. JyotiGogia
gave a vote of thanks to all at the end of the event. On this occasion, Dr. Seema
Marwaha-Dean academics of the college, Mrs. Navroop Kaur-Dean youth welfare,
Dr. Ashmeen Kaur-Coordinator IQAC cell and Mrs. Urvashi Mishra-Dean students’
council and faculty from music and other department were also present.
