It is a matter of pride that Guru
Nanak Dev University has won the prestigious MAKA Trophy with the maximum
contribution of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. The University received the
trophy during 52nd Annual Sports Prize Distribution Function hold in
GNDU Campus, Amritsar. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen
has also been honoured by Sh. Anurag Thakur, Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs
and Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India. Principal Dr.
Ajay Sareen said that it is pertinent to note that out of 23 times, MAKA trophy
was won by GNDU, 22 times the contribution of HMV has been the maximum. She
congratulated all the stakeholders of HMV family. On this occasion, Vice
Chancellor of the University Dr. Jaspal Singh and other dignitaries were also
present.
